There aren’t many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends. That’s the reason for DivorceCare. It’s a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
At DivorceCare, you will become part of a small support group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. By interacting with these people, you’ll learn there are others who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer you encouragement. You’ll also have a chance to talk about the information presented during the seminar. Many participants say these support groups are the most helpful part of the program.
We also offer DivorceCare for Kids. This is a companion series designed for children K-5th grade to attend while their parent is in DivorceCare. DC4K addresses many of the same issues as DivorceCare, but at the child's level of understanding.
New sessions of DivorceCare/DC4K begin in January and August of each year. Sign-ups usually begin about three weeks before the start of the session.
The next session will be held on Thursdays, January 28 - April 29, 7-9 pm. Please call or email us (see below) if you have any questions or would like more information.
Note: If you are separated and both spouses are open to restoring your marriage, we partner with His Touch Ministries and recommend them for marriage counseling.
