Low-maintenance, high-tech, talented, and tall. That’s Tim Gosnell in a nutshell.
 
Born and raised in Lynchburg, Tim began attending BRCC in 2003 and was brought on staff in January 2010 as a video producer and editor. His strong background in professional photography provided a seamless transition and foundation for his role at The Ridge. Armed with a Canon 7D in each side holster, Tim is often seen shooting video to convey stories of God changing lives in order to communicate to the masses. His creativity and technical mind also have a strong influence on stage lighting and design. In his time off, Tim enjoys spending quality time with his wife, investing in others, and developing his photography skills.

Although Tim is often seen as a master at his craft, he is the first to admit that he must rely on God instead of himself. Being a part of Technical Arts “has grown my relationship with God because it has moved me into areas where I feel inadequate. These feelings of inadequacy make me depend on God and go to Him for help rather than relying on myself.”

Tim’s confidence in God’s help is affirmed in one of his favorite Bible verses, Philippians 1:6, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

All things considered, if you really want to get to know Tim, you’ll probably need to visit his home. He is a self-proclaimed homebody who does not get bored easily. He would just as soon stay at home and snuggle with his “wonderful bride” Sarah, while sharing a good movie and a frozen pizza, than almost any alternative you could offer.
