Judson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from Liberty University. That's not surprising if you've ever heard him play keyboard with the band at Blue Ridge. But, he is also very accomplished at playing several other musical instruments as well. Maybe some of that is genetic since his dad has been a music director all of his adult life (and at the same church for more than 25 years), his mom teaches piano, and all of his siblings are musically inclined as well. We're counting on Judson following in his dad's footsteps and being at Blue Ridge for a very long time!

Born on June 5, 1980, in San Diego, California, Judson was raised in Tacoma, Washington, the oldest of four children. His brother is married and is a young adults pastor in Tacoma. One sister was in the Miss Virginia pageant several times and graduated from LU. And his little sister is attending college in California.

Judson is married to Megan. When they first met, she was engaged to someone else. But, he stole her heart and the rest is history. Now, they're making even more history together. After an incredible journey with God while they were trying to have children, Judson and Megan are in the process of adopting two babies, both of whom they took home from the hospital right after they were born. Thaxton and Ashlynn were born 3 1/2 months apart so, in many ways, it's almost like having twins. Judson and Megan are having the time of their lives as they adjust to becoming parents twice in one year.

Judson loves to eat out anywhere as long as his in-laws are paying. Although He is a pretty even-keel kind of guy, if you want to stay off his pet peeve list, don't drive slow on the freeway and then speed in the 45 mph zones.
