John is  married to his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Angel. They have two great boys: Spencer and Zach.

He was raised and spent much of his life in Ohio, but has also lived in Georgia, Kentucky, and Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Theology from Baptist Bible College.

John's gifts of leadership and teaching, his strengths of imagination and creativity, and his love for God and for teenagers are probably the reasons he ended up where he is today.

He loves sports of all kinds – but especially basketball and soccer (playing, coaching, and watching). If you can't find John, he's probably at Starbucks or any other coffee shop in the area. Living by Proverbs 19:27 (CEV), "If you stop learning, you will forget what you already know," John desires to learn something new every day.

Spending life with friends and family, watching his boys grow up, Kentucky Wildcats basketball, soccer on all levels, and laughter pretty much sum John up.

Quick Caution: he is a neat freak!
