Radical meets at BRCC on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm. Starting May 30, we will be going through Your Divine Design.

Who we are
Radical offers a spiritual environment where singles, around age 30 and up, can grow in their relationship in Christ and in community with each other. The Radical ministry intentionally creates environments to facilitate that growth.  

Radical reflects the mission of Blue Ridge Community Church:

• We are Going, sharing the Good News as we serve and connect.
• Gathering is important as we conduct regular Connect Events to encourage community.
• Regular teaching series and small group environments facilitate Growing relationships and friendships with other singles as well as in our knowledge of the Bible.
• We believe in Giving ourselves as we share the Good News.
• Lastly, our heartbeat is Glorifying God in all we do.

In order to participate in this ministry’s activities you must be single (not separated) and desire to connect with other singles and, most importantly, with God.


Connect
Connect Events are designed to help singles do life together in a healthy, Christ-centered community. These opportunities help us develop strong godly friendships. These events occur about two to three times per month and include large gatherings such as a Thanksgiving meal, New Year’s party and picnics in the park. There are smaller activities as well, such as hiking and “Movie on the Lawn.”

Grow and Learn
Radical is passionate about creating environments that help singles deepen their knowledge of the Bible. Studying the Bible in community provides an opportunity for a rich experience for character development, Biblical understanding and personal growth.

Some of the teaching environments directed toward singles include, “Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships,” a video-driven series taught by Chip Ingram, and “Purpose Driven Life,” taught by Rick Warren and others. These environments offer learning, interaction, and growth with a small discussion group format.

Radical desires singles to grow deeper in friendships as well as in selfless service. Small group environments are forming for community and growth. Also, outreach opportunities are available to encourage the giving of time, talent and resources to others who need encouragement and the Good News.
