Real Men
"We don't just hang out together, we do life together."

Real Men is a group that meets with the goal of connecting men through life experiences, successes, and struggles. Individuals work to experience God on a practical level. We apply biblical principles to the everyday struggles of being a husband, father, single, divorced, or married man. What does God's Word say about my struggles? Are there other men who feel the same way I do? How can I use my experiences to help someone else?

Occasionally, Real Men connect through events such as canoe trips, golf, or participating in HELPS ministries such as building projects.

"We do Bible life together, not Bible study."

Emphasis is placed on explaining and teaching men to disciple one another along their spiritual and life journeys, which facilitates ongoing support and growth.

Real Men meets at BRCC on Mondays, 7:30 - 9 pm. The time includes topical Bible teaching with a different topic each month. The March topic is Looking More Like Jesus. Don't miss this opportunity to grow closer to God, learn to help other men grow closer to God, and learn to pray in community.

Engage is another group designed especially for men. It's a transparent and nonjudgmental environment where men can move closer to God and to one another. Engage meets at Carol's Place Restaurant, 15173 Forest Road, Forest, VA. There are two options for your convenience:

  • Saturday mornings, 7:30 am
  • Monday evenings, 7 pm

Small Groups
"Men Helping Men"

The purpose of small groups is to connect men with similar life circumstances who want to learn more about becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. Ongoing groups help men explore God's Word to learn how to deal with struggles such as spiritually leading a household, anger, fatherhood, sex, or being a dad, whether divorced, single, or married. New groups are created as needed to fit men's needs.
