Journey (formerly Empty Nesters; 40 - 85+ years) provides an environment for lively senior citizens at Blue Ridge who want to grow closer to God in community. We fellowship, contemplate on God's Word, worship the Lord, and periodically celebrate Communion together. We pray for and support one another as we journey through life, reaching up to the living God and out to those who don't know Him.
The group meets in the Middle School room at BRCC on Thursdays, 10-11:30 am, for devotionals and coffee.
The men meet for coffee every Tuesday, 8 am, at McDonald's on Timberlake Road. All men are welcome to join us.
The Widows' Group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month. In February, we will have Jill Botham as our special guest speaker.

As in all programs at BRCC, our purposes follow the Five Gs:
| Gathering |
we love to gather and fellowship |
| |
|
| Growing |
spiritually, not only in knowledge, but in knowing God |
| |
|
| Going |
we are very active within the Body of Christ; most of us are involved in a ministry of BRCC; and we keep up with the people who attend the Empty Nesters group, helping each other when we can |
| |
|
| Glorifying |
we love to reach up and out, always seeking to do what God wants us to do |
| |
|
| Giving |
we love to give our time and resources to further the Kingdom; we are doers--not pew sitters |
