Sometimes our nest becomes empty. The kids move out, a spouse passes away, a divorce takes place, a single mom or dad needs to be part of a family, or maybe there is no family at all. The Empty Nester group is the place for you.
The Empty Nesters is a group of brothers and sisters in Christ (ages 18-90). Some of us have been following Christ for a short period of time, some for a number of years, and some attendees just want to find out what the Christian faith is all about. We develop strong friendships, have wonderful fellowship, and grow in Christ. The group is a great place to get connected to other Blue Ridgers.
We gather on Sundays at 4 pm, September through May, with some exceptions. Special events are held periodically, i.e., potluck dinners or special trips. Typically, we only meet once a month during June and July, and do not meet during August.
Empty Nesters meet offsite in one of the homes. You may call the number below or send an email for more information. We would love to have you join us.
Our schedule for March is to meet (offsite) every Sunday at 4 pm except March 21.
The men meet for coffee on Tuesdays, 8 am, at McDonald's on Timberlake Road
